Hi~
I'm new here and I'm afraid I missed Gwens story...I'll search!
However, I have a 3 year old who has always been Numero Uno and the Queen of the house until I brought home a new puppy! She HATED her! Very jealous! I never forced them to be together or to get along. In fact I tried to show my 3 yr old, Vixxen, that SHE was still special (by taking her with me to run errands and sleeping with us ALONE, etc). The puppy of course wanted to play all the time and Vixxen will let out this snarl and she will still nip her to keep her in line! However, after about 5 weeks, they finally play great together and can both sleep on me, etc!! I say, let them get used to each other but without forcing them together. Not sure how long Gwen has been in the household? I thought they should bond long before 5 weeks so I was getting nervous!! But it is working out fine
