I'm not a fan of the Canidae Wet or Chicken Soup dry because both contain Barley. A substantial percentage of dogs are allergic to wheat and other grains such as barley and rye so I stear clear of all foods and treats that contain wheat, barley, or rye. If your dogs aren't showing any signs of allergies (dry skin, head shaking, biting feet, ear infections), then the Canidae Wet and Chicken Soup dry are excellent choices. However, I only like the Chicken Soup PUPPY formula. The Adult formula has too many fillers and many more grains in it. The PUPPY formula is actually an All Life Stages formula and can also be fed to adult dogs.
The place where I get my dog food has been out of the 20lb bag so I've been buying two 5lb bags of Canidae and with my 3, it lasts me 2 - 2.5 weeks.
