| I have a business degree (majored in Marketing) but never got to use it until NOW (I think ). You will find out that whatever you major in is most likely not what you will end up doing, unless it is very technical. What is important is that you do get a college education.
Getting into medicine is very hard and staying on it even harder. You really do have to LOVE it in order to withstand the challenges. My daughter wanted to take up dentistry for the money and she is a stellar student. She thought she could handle it but her passion was never there so she decided right after her first quarter to shift to a major that is true to her calling.
