Default Sammy went to the vet today

Well I took Sam to the vet today because he just finished his last dose of antibiotics 2 days ago after having pneumonia/kennel cough. They said he looks fine, lungs so good, heart sounds good, but still a bit of labored breathing, but NOT AT ALL like it was before. He also started itching his ear like crazy and hour before the appointment and every time he would he would cry. His ear also went limp like it really hurt him. I was so thankful that he did this BEFORE the appointment and not after! They said he does have a tiny infection in his one ear so they gave us ear cleaner and ointment. They also put him back on 2 antibiotics for 2 more wks b/c he's still coughing and sniffly. Plus he has started the reverse sneezing this week out of no where. Scares me to death! He is on Clavamox and Antirobe Aquadrops for the cough and pneumonia. My vet also said that after the 2 wks he has to go back to check on him and then she will probably put him on more antibiotics for a few more weeks since a puppy his size (3lbs...he gained a lb since his last visit!! ) that has pneumonia should be on antibiotics for 5-6 wks...which I agree with. So, hopefully this time the medicine will knock this out completely and he will finally be healthy. Otherwise he is running around like crazy, eating like a little piggy, and starting to love his Mommy more and more each day. Has anyone had their puppy on the antibiotics Sam is on? If so, how do they seem to work? Also, I heard that pig ears are good for their teeth, but is it bad if they chew off a piece and eat it? He also LOVES the greenies, but are they supposed to eat it? I probably sound silly, but I'm a nervous mommy . Anyway, thanks for thinking of Sammy and helping me out. I will continue to keep you updated on the little man!
