What are your thoughts on this story? Not sure what title to post on this. I have a friend who had 2 yorkies and saw a rescue yorkie she just had to have so she got it too. She is just a precious little thing. Well my friend, Brenda has had Daisy for over 6 months and she has gained weight, made new friends but just wont get potty trained. Brenda's her husband has always said he didn't want her so he is no help at raising her even when HE works at home! MEN! Brenda decided that the rescue dog really needed a home where the owner didn't work and could be with this Daisy all day and be able to work with her on potty training and just love up on her all day so she wouldn't be so nervous. Brenda has been so picky who this little dog would go to. I honestly thought she would never find anyone and that would be her excuse to keep her. Well she found someone interested through our yorkie group of friends and sold her for the same price she had bought her for. Daisy was in better shape now then when she had gotten her. Brenda told the lady that Daisy does have some teeth problems and would need a thorough cleaning. (Brenda has been trying to get the rescue to help pay for this and they won't even call her back!)
Brenda cryed and cryed when they took Daisy but thought it was the best thing for the Daisy.
Well now the lady who has bought Daisy, says she is not eating or drinking and has taken her to the vet for IV's. And the vet said that Daisy has abcesses in some teeth. Brenda had just taken her to that same vet to be examined and was told the teeth just need to be cleaned. Now the lady wants Brenda to pay for all the vet bills ect. Brenda had told her when she took Daisy that the lady would be responsible for her teeth and the lady said "oh that isn't a problem". Brenda has offered to take Daisy back because she was eating and drinking fine at home. I think Daisy was just stressed going to a new home. She can't be dehydrated because she did pee at least twice when the lady had her and I have taken care of Daisy for a week before and this dog can hold her pee!
Supposedly this lady had a rescue before and it recently died and that is why she wants Daisy. You'd think if you had a rescue before you would be more understanding about all what this little thing had gone through and its nerves.
What are your thoughts on this? Sorry it is so long. |
