Last week my son carried LillyBelle to me and said--"what does she have all over her face, nose and mouth?" I looked and said SHE'S BEEN IN THE KITTY BOX!! HER FACE WAS COVERED IN LITTLE BLUE/WHITE PEBBLES! Guess she ate the scented litter, along with the poopoo. She threw up all day and during the night, I had to give her sugar water to keep her from getting hypoglycemic-she just felt terrrible. The next day she could keep down some broth and finally after two days-real food. I had to treat her like a sick child. I always keep the kitty box scooped up, but I must have missed a "scooping, I got a short 3in box and put the kitty box on top of that in the laundry room, so she cant reach it now. |
