Eddie gets OK to return to agility! Some of you might remember a thread I had a while back that said Eddie came up limping after a run-in with a neighborhood puppy. The vet didn't know what it was for sure but thought it could be serious: a cranial cruciate tear. He advised me to pull him out of agility and to bring him back in three months.
Today was his three-month appointment, and he passed with apparent flying colors. No problems showed up on the radiograph, and no problems showed up on a range-of-motion test. He was cleared to resume agility class!
It doesn't mean he's not going to reinjure it, but it means it didn't get worse and may have been something else. I'm going to try to get him back into agility but take it slow, maybe skip some of the more stressful exercises until he builds up some strength.
Woohoo!
