Yep, it does take awhile ... Toto's hair reaches the floor but she is 17 months old! I brush her every day, because we both enjoy it!
What she doesn't like is bath day because it takes several hours and it makes her really tired ... she has little routines that she just sets for herself and one of them is her naps!
I tried to make some pictures on my own and they aren't very good but I will try to upload them and perhaps give you an idea of what I was trying to describe. She refused to hold her tail up but I think you can kinda get the gist of it. Hope it helps ... there is nothing worse for you or your Yorkie baby than those "pancakes" on their rear!!
