I just gave Mattie his first bath on Sunday -- he's 12 weeks and alot bigger 4 1/2 pounds but I waited 4 weeks after I got him. I figured he had enough adjustments and changes that I didn't need to rush with the bath. Besides he hasn't gone outside yet so he wasn't really that dirty. We warmed the towel, put cotton in his ears and I didn't get any water on his head. I decided that we would take it slow and easy at first. And he did really good. I've posted a thread -- Mattie's 1st bath with photo's if you want to check it out. One thing that we do every morning is get a wipe down with a warm cloth on his face, feet and underside.
