Well my boy is chipped...but like suz said...if they want your dog they will find any way to get it..but its just for us humans to have a better mind about security for out pets....but i think it is a good idea..cause there some honest people out there that will give your pet back but then there are others that if you dog is just the cutiest thing to them and they gotta have (seeing it walking on the sidewalk alone..no parent) they will keep it! But hey i say get it for pet...it will help in the long run....
