Thank you all for the wonderful comments about the babies. I must say they are adorable but then again I am a little partial! LOL!!! This mother came to us bred. Actually it was a gift to Kathy and I from the breeder in Germany. We lost our beloved Emmelie to a coyote this fall. It was a tragic even that Kathy and I will never forget. We loved her so much. Our breeder friend in Germany knew Emmelie and heard about our loss so she offered to bred our new female for us as a kind gesture! We were told our Judy was a champion when we bought her but we had NO IDEA all the titles she had won until we got her papers in the mail. That too was a wonderful surprise. When a female is shipped bred they do it about two to four weeks after the breeding takes place. It is safe to ship them at that time. Anything over that and the puppies could be placed in jeopardy as well as the mother. Our girl did just great and has been a wonderful addition to my home and our breeding programs. She is a very sweet girl.
Biewers develop a little different than the standard yorkie. You really can not tell what attributes a puppy will have until they are about 10 to 12 weeks old. This is why we say we will not really know what we have for sale until that time. Right now the faces are very dark with a little white and brown and each face. This is how they should be. The puppies should be born with all three colors on the face. You will see the brown usually on the cheeks when they are first born. This changes as they mature. The brown will become lighter and the white will become a little more wide spread over the face. We will try to post weekly pictures as they mature so you can watch the changes of a biewer puppy.
Again thank you all so much for the kind words about our babies! Have a great evening.
