I'm going through the same thing with Tucker. My vet told me to wait until he was about a year to see if the other testicle drops. She said that boys can wait a little longer than girls to be neutered because there aren't as many health risks. Also, she said that it takes a little longer in smaller breeds. She also said exactly what Syndney's Mom said - if the testicle didn't drop the surgery would just be more like spaying, but it is fairly common. Good luck!
