I have the same problem with my 8+ month old pup. I had her pad trained and she would USUALLY use it at other people's houses. The advice I got on this board was that pad training them teaches them it's ok to potty in the house. So at 4 months old I took away the pads and honestly IT HAS NOT HELPED!!!

When my pup is at home she's good, rings the bell (albeit too often), and potties outside exclusively. When we are at other people's houses (typically when friends are dog sitting) she likes to pee on their couches, beds, and luggage!

I don't know how to get her to stop because I've never actually caught her in the act and she has never done anything so horrid at home.
