One flea does not lay one egg..it lays hundreds. It jumps on the dog to feed on blood and jumps off to lay eggs in the carpets and furniture. Run the vacuum and wash Toto's bedding. I saw 3 fleas about 2 months ago on one of mine and nothing on the others...I got heartworm with Flea guard and have have seen none since.
