That is exactly what I was looking for. I never expected to fully relax... I am an over-protective mom by nature... but I just wanted some assurance that she had a really good chance of being okay
She is still in her whelping box 98 % of the day. When she starts moving around I have small ex-pen for her and mom. My house is full of baby gates and is completely baby proofed... so I am confident she will not get into something she shouldn't. Thank you for your advice I need all the direction I can get.
One more question... when should I allow the Dad in the picture. He has been separated thus far and we have allowed him to smell the baby. Our male is extremely gentle...but I just want to know what is best for baby. Tucker (our male) seems afraid of the puppy right now.
