Not quite a toy, belonging to the terrier group, but my other favourite is the Cairn Terrier. I've owned 16 of them & they are brilliant little dogs
Absolutely full of fun, very loving & loyal, easy to train, get on well with other dogs, small enough to take anywhere but can walk for miles, very healthy with very few problems most of mine never needed the vet apart from their booster shots, long thick coats that are SO easy to care for, need I go on? |
We had a Cairn too and he was a great dog with a mind of his own! Fremont was as smart as a whip - he made up games to play by himself! He used to put his schnout into a plastic corrugated ring and throw it up in the air, trying to catch it in his mouth. (I secretly think he kept score and was always trying to beat his personal best!)
We had him for 14 years before we had kids and I always referred to him as my Little Boy In A Dog Suit.
