So the neighbor's dogs were out and started barking like crazy, which is strange for them, then my boyz got in on the action. They were staring at the same spot from their front window seat so I went to see what all the barking was about. I was thinking another squirrel had the audacity to enter their little domain
but couldn't believe it when I saw a full grown cyote standing in my front yard about 20 feet from the boyz' fenced area and our deck!
He walked around our front yard a bit and then down to the street (we're on a tiered corner lot) and up the hill to another neighbor...then he crawled under a 6 foot chain link fence onto the church property. He didn't look too healthy...about half of his hair was missing and his tail was almost completely bald. This was about 10:00 this morning. Isn't it kind of odd to see them in daylight? He didn't seem scared of too much...he looked at the dogs but ignored them and went about his business. I called animal control, they can't do anything and said to call the Conservation Department. What if this thing has rabies or something? It makes me a bit nervous to know it's running around our neighborhood so freely.
