If you click on the blue checkbox (just to the left of the thread title, so for example, on this thread, just to the left of "ARGH... Someone Help Me..." in the list of threads in Site Suggestions / Comments / Questions, that will bring you to the first unread post in the thread. If you put your mouse over the checkbox, it will say "Go to first new post", in case you aren't sure which checkbox we are talking about.
