My husband is a 911 Dispatcher for a small county and unfortunately, most of the cases that he sends to the local animal shelter do not have happy endings for animal lovers. The small counties generally do not have the funds/resources to follow up these calls or the manpower to do anything other than give a slap on the hand, which is usually just a verbal warning. It would be great if every area could be covered by devoted active people as in the Animal Planet shows like Houston ASPCA and other such shows.
As to this breeder, I found her website about a month ago, she has videos of a couple of her pups on it, and they look scared, as if they are not used to human interaction. Their is a brief view of an adult dog nursing pups, and she looks dirty and in need of a good brushing. I feel sorry for these babies, and the people who buy them and have to deal with the health issues.
