Mia does the same thing! She won't eat unless we're home. She'll take her food from her bowl in the kitchen then bring it to whatever room we're in to eat and she'll do this until she's done eating. Sometimes she'll play with her food too, she'll throw it in the air and growl, she's sooooo funny
I also find she loves to bring her food on the carpet. We have a area rug in our living room and she always brings her food there. My husband and I say she's lucky cuz with all the trotting she does from the kitchen to the living room, she's burning calories
