I sew all the time and I even have a sewing/craft room in my basement...but as there's too much stuff down there for the pups to get into, I sew in the kitchen now. I've dropped the odd pin and thankfully found it right away but I do worry all the time about them finding one and getting hurt.

I've used the magnet idea, but I wanted something bigger so I bought one of the big magnet sheets (they use them for signs) and I'm going to attach it to a swiffer I don't use and hopefully it'll work. The thing is that the pups are so fast to find anything that falls on the floor...they'd find it before I could get a hold of it. I guess we just have to be really careful.

The other day when I was making my carseat for the pups, I stapled the seams together instead of using pins 'cause the pins kept falling out of the fabric and I was so afraid of the dogs getting hurt.
