Me too, but she's in touch with Caddo's breeder. She was wonderful... very much so. Everything from the healthiest, most beautiful pup to an unexpected puppy package and information. I also still call her and we talk about Caddo, and she is very interested in watching him grow up through pictures and such. She's a breeder, but she's not a puppy mill. She really cares about her dogs and wants the best for them.
Not sure if this applies to the pup here, but the breeder even surprised me when I picked up Caddo and told me he's got Champion pedigree. She didn't advertise it, and she certainly didn't take advantage of it by asking for more money. She wanted him to go to a good home, that was just bonus. She's definitely in it for the dogs.
