Hi,
I have 2 yorkies and a lhasa apso. 1 yorkie is 16 yrs old and we feed him soft food because he has no teeth. The other yorkie (5 yrs old) and the lhasa (3 yrs old) share food. I feed them Natural Choice lamb and rice small bites, between 2 1/2 to 3 cups a day for both of them. The overweight yorkie (Mylie) is 10lbs and she normally weighs 5-6lbs. I had her checked for thyroid problems and it was low so she is on medicine. That did no help with her weight issue. I began restricting their food about 2 months ago and still no weight loss. She has been overweight for a year now and I need help.
How much should I be feeding her?
What else can I do to help her?
