 Teaching to sit....
I started training lottie to sit a few weeks after i got her. She managed it fine or so i thought......she's been a bit bad of late when it comes to doing what shes told, ive been doing the "sit" command with her and giving her a treat when she does it correctly, like i did in the begining. In the begining I did wonder if she was actually sitting to my command or had got it in her head that if she plonks her bum on the ground a treat is on its way.
Well the other day im practicing it with her, and even before i say sit, shes plonking her bum on the floor, she knows i have a treat in my hand so just sits, but isnt so good at doing it when i dont have a treat. |
