I also refused to let Sydney stay overnight. I dropped her off at 8:30 and picked her up at 5:30. She was very out-of-it for the rest of the night and she was dry-heaving from the drugs, but I feel that she was better off sleeping in her own bed. I understand that it is less-invasive surgery on male dogs, so I think that you should be fine. Most of us on here took their dogs home the same day.
