I take Jaden and Jewelina out in their strollers ALL the time!
They have the Happy Trails stollers (blue and pink) and they zip shut entirely so you can't really tell there is a dog in there..it looks just like a baby stroller so I would say don't worry about what it looks like! Besides, if someone does see your dog they'll probably just be oohing and aahing because it's so cute, not because it looks silly.
I take them out here and it's been in the 40's-50's...cold for Florida. I put in two blankets and also add a hot water bottle in there with them and they do gine. Oh, they always have clothes on too...
