I like both products myself and use them on both the Yorkie and the maltese. I find that if I put the cowboy magic on the mat and let it set for a bit, the mat is much easier to work out. I also use the cowboy magic mixed with water in a spray bottle in between baths when I brush their coats. Of course the real solution is to brush EVERY day without fail. If I do that, mats are almost nonexistent. The petsilk leave-in conditoner is fabulous stuff too. I have seen a real shine to their coats since using these products!
