I think the reason why some say it isn't that good is because of the corn gluten meal. I have heard that some can have an allergy to it. I know that the beet pulp was a problem for Diesel. It caused his eyes to water really bad. When I switched his food and took out the beet pulp it all cleared up. All dogs are different so if this is working for you then I wouldn't change.
