Okay so I am in pharmacy school now and I just took a class on calculating doses, and this is what I come up with; your baby weights 29 ounces (16 ounces in a pound) and 5 lbs would be 80 ounces so 29 ounces x 5ml/80 ounces equals 1.81 ml. (if you want to understand the math ounces cancel out and leave you with ml) so approx. 2 ml is one dose for your baby! Hope this helps!! |
