We refer to Rockie as "El Diablo"--he's a demon when he wants to be but I have to say though it sounds crazy, I'm a bit jealous of the attention they seek from you. I totally coddled Rockie as a pup--he substituted for the third child we never had but now he pretty much acts like a cat wanting to be left alone--doesn't prefer to sit next to anyone. The only time he wants attention is for play time and that's when he turns into the demon because if Rockie can't get your attention with HIS toys, he'll get attention with OURS! Thanks to the Yorkie Forum, I have finally been able to at least teach him to "trade" for items rather than running after him or chasing him outside. I don't know how you all are able to teach all of the tricks--I've only been able to teach him to sit--and not stay mind you--just sit.
