They need to contact management, first local, then their chain hq. There needs to be some sort of agreed upon compensation. What if it was a show dog, well never mind, a show dog would never be at a pet store groomers. But still! The dog is not the same. The dog also had pain and aggravation to deal with. If a person were to go to court over this, there would be mental anguish, time spent at the vet's, etc. to deal with. I am not a fan of suing people -- but they need to take responsibility for a HUGE error and compensate the dog's owner. Then the owner can use the money to spoil the poor little tail-less pup! |
