I just looked at the ones I have and they are andis. They probably weren't the top of the line model but they were around $100 so I dont think they were bottom of the line either. I wrote andis and asked if there was anything they would be willing to do

I have found some of the really good ones brand new on ebay, so when I am ready to buy them, I may go that route. otherwise, amazon.com seems to have good prices.
