I think once they get along they do better in pairs...
If I were ever to do it all over again, I'd get them both while they were puppies so they could grow up together. Sometimes the age difference works but at least in my case, Jewelina is too much of a "baby" currently for Jaden. I think they'll get along better as she grows up.
