you study your dogs pedigree. If it is AKc, you can order one. get a three or four generation pedigree and start researching the names on it. AKC does put the champions in red. My AKC pedigrees have names of other champions that were dual registered but they don't show up in red. only the AKC ones. That's how you know if you have a good bloodline or not. That's why puppies that you want over five hundred dollars for here in kentucky, don't sell. i have called so called breeders about puppies and asked what is their bloodline. They don't have a clue. needless to say, I didn't buy. And when i talk to people about my line they just look at me with blank expressions. i have done so much research on my dogs that it is very hard for me to understand why people don't even know what bloodline their dog is from. of course if you were just buying a little pet, it wouldn't make much difference . |
