I assume that you are just going to watch the show, and if that is the case, there is nothing you need to do ahead of time. There is usually a small fee to get in, but all you need to do is go and enjoy!

If you are intending to show your dog, there is a LOT to know!!! I would suggest that you contact the YTCA and perhaps get some discussion going with people on this forum who show their Yorkies. Back when my English Setters were on the show circuit, we had a professional handler. Showing can be a very political thing and you need to "know" the judges and what "type" they prefer. Back in the early 80s it took about $7K to "finish" a setter, whether you handled your own dog or used a handler.
But it sure was a lot of FUN!!!!
