I did the same thing when I got Bella.....We had Louie for almost a yr and he was a little over a yr. when we decided to get him a sister.....We brought him with us to the breeders when we got her to let him meet her first and then we all came home together.....we put Bella in the playpen and let Louie sniff around and stuff and when it looked as though he really wanted to play with her we put him in with her.....and then after a little while we let her out and they have been best buds ever since! Good luck hun.....2 is definately a LOT more fun for everyone!
