I really think they enjoy having a playmate. My breeder said they do well in pairs. And to the op I have two a male and a female. I got my male first. When we introduced Jewels we brought her in and kept her in the crate we brought her home in and let Chachi sniff her. Then we brought her out while my Husband petted on Chachi and let him sniff her. They have always got along great. Evvery now and then one of them will growl at the other one because of something but it is rare. They are great buddies
