I've had this problem in the past with my male and female yorkies. The male would attack the female usually when they were laying on or around me. If you know which one is the aggresser then the next time it happens, gently turn the aggresser on her back on the floor or sofa and place the passive dog on top of her. Just be sure to take care that aggresser can't snap at the passive dog. Do all of this in a very calm manner, no need to even speak. Have the passive dog lay on the aggresser for a minute of so then remove the passive dog and let them go on with their day. I initially saw this on the Dog Whisper show and it worked for me after a very short period of time. |
