Wow, that would be tough to leave him all that time. I took Cooper in at 7:00am, they did the preop bloodwork that morning, and then I picked him up about 5:00. He was groggy and laid in my lap all evening, but I am glad I got to pick him up, I'm not sure I could have left him overnight. Also, after I dropped him off that morning, I was so upset and my husband told me to go and get him . I am glad I didn't, it was the best thing to do, but oh so hard!! Good luck, it is very nerve-wracking, but it is for the best if your not breeding! Oh, yes, he was pretty much back to his usual self the next day. They even sent home pain med, just in case, and he didn't need it.
