Oh I did try to volunteer my time and services in other ways also but was turned down for everything, they stated that I was too far away, while another member of their volunteers is about 40 mins from me. She does transport and home interviews for prospective new fosters. I just got a turn down completely...I applied for a chihuahua resuce last night..so we will see what happens, but Im not holding my breath this time lol..
