I feel your pain! My 6 month old pups always have the stray hairs sticking out. I put the topknot closer to the eyes and use a pet product called "Top Knot Gel" made by Petsilk. It still does not stay all day and sometimes only a few minutes. Just have to wait for the hair to grow for the best results.
