frontline kills fleas after they have hatched. if you have a realy bad flea infestation then the fleas are not just on the dog. You will see more fleas on your dog sometimes after applying frontline because it is causing the fleas to rise to the top of the hair coat instead of being buried in the skin. Also eggs can be hatching which is releasing more fleas. AND there are probably flea eggs all over your house which are now hatching. you need to clean everything and probably let off a flea bomb in yoru house to kill them all. First trying giving your dog a bath. if they are just on your dog and not in the house then the bath will kill the rest of them. Use your regular shampoo, NOT flea shampoo becuase you do not want to overmedicate them.
