Riley is 1 1/2 but he's been trained to go outside or in the litter pan. I wanted to take it away because he seemed to be using it too much and that won't teach him to hold it like he should. I still put it down at night, just in case, but he hasn't used it. They love to go outsidt but if it's real cold they don't stay out long...which is fine because I go out with them and I hate the cold!
