When Simon would go through his bouts of diarhhea/throwing up I would literally force water in his mouth with a dropper. It wasn't fun or easy but I would cuddle with him and open his mouth with my hand and quickly squirt the water in his mouth. Try mixing some of the chicken broth with the soft food and feeding her off of a spoon.
