My house was puppy proof already and everything. I ended up buying a second puppy too for about the same cost as the rescue. I just don't get it.
I showed my application to another Humane Soc employee at a different location (downtown) and she said it was an ideal application. She offered to find me a puppy on the spot and even showed me some dogs that were not available for public view yet. Unfortunately, none of them were small which is what I wanted as a companion for my yorkie.
I already mentioned this on another thread so sorry to repeat, but I am still bummed about it and it was 3 years ago. I will probably never apply to adopt another rescue dog again after that. |
It is VERY frustrating isnt it?? Maybe Ill have to start my OWN rescue!!
