I have been trying to volunteer at the Humane Society 30 minutes away by streetcar, the nearest to where I live..so far, they can only put me up for the 11pm on Sunday night and I can't. Its not a very safe area and its too late at night. I wish they would just give me a decent time slot. I really don't mind washing the small animal cages or bathing/feeding or just playing with them.I really can feel what you are feeling. I have been 'hibernating' for about 9 months now and being a newcomer, I am not allowed to work just yet.Sometimes, I really hope this would all be over soon. |
