why ? there's no point unless you know what airline she plans to use - IF she's planning to use one at all. You really need to talk to her and pin her down. If I were in your position - I'd be pretty worried at this point that I was scammed. What good is calling the airlines if you don't know WHAT airline the puppy will be shipped on ?
This is one reason I could never buy off the net - I don't want to say too much and scare you but please get some answers from this breeder and write down the specifics. Depending on what she says - you can then decide if she is really legit.
If she keeps giving you the run-around - (IF I WERE YOU) - I'd cancel the payment and keep looking.
