The demodex took a lot out of her, but she's a strong little pup. She started treatment Sept. and didn't finish until Dec, but she pulled through it

Well, you may want to call the vet and let them know. They may reschedule the surgery. Mine said that if I brought Izzy in, and she was in heat or even CLOSE, that they would reschedule for a month away. They want all the female organs to not be inflamed, it makes the surgery much less stressful on the dog if they're not in heat when being spayed.
