I am in the early stages of switching Tucker (5 months old) from Nutro Lamb and Rice Puppy to Chicken Soup Puppy and have noticed that he is unusually gassy and some of his poop is a bit less firm and stinkier (is that a word) than normal. Should I keep going and hope this passes (no pun intended
).
I'd like him to be on a healthy food and price doesn't really matter since he is such a small guy, but I would like it to be a food that I can buy in town which limits me to what the farm and ranch store sells (diamond) or PetCo.
I think I'm making the transition pretty slow - I've worked him to almost the half Nutro, half CS and it has been almost a week since I first introduced CS.
What do you all think? Is the Nutro a good enough food? How does it rate? Kind of "if it's not broke don't fix it"?
