YEP! Same here. That is exactly what I was thinking the entire time I was reading this thread. I find it really amazing that so many married couples keep their money separate where the husband has "HIS" money and the wife has "HER" money...that is really crazy to me!
We have a joint account, and every red cent that is in that account is "OURS" - regardless of whether it came from my paycheck, or his.
I have never understood, nor will I ever understand exactly WHY married couples keep their money separate???
I just think that is so WEIRD! It makes no sense to me.
Also - I just have to add in that my hubby sounds alot like yours
He is an EXTREMELY caring and giving husband - and is always surprising me with gifts. He will go out and buy me something if he hears me say I like it, or that I would like to have it. He is the best husband in the world!
